The Gaming Industry

The ACG, which stands for Anime, Comics and Games, is an organization with two major branches in East Asia and Northern America.

It is made up of a conglomeration of like-minded fans with the goal and aim to promote the media arts via events being hosted at different times during the year. These events are a way to not only bring the casual fans (and some non-fans) together, but cosplay is encouraged, video game competitions are hosted, merchandise sales and the giving away of excellent prizes, do more to make ACG a fun and exciting venture. Video games are a billion-dollar industry and with its ever escalating popularity, young and old alike are bound to find a game suitable for their tastes and skill levels.
Some of the more popular players are the Xbox 360, Nintendo DS and Wii, PS2, Game Boy Advance, Sega Genesis and of course, PC systems.

One such popular PC game is World of Warcraft or more commonly written as WoW.
This game is considered an MMOPRG - which stands for massively multiplayer online roleplaying game.

As the name states, this game is played online and connects more than one player to it at any given time.
With over 11.5 million subscribers in a month alone, it is one of the most popular MMOPRG ever (a number only topped the introduction of The Sims).

Players in World of Warcraft can choose to be villains or heroes and can travel across continents effortlessly.
However, with all good games it is not difficult to come across helpful tips and strategies called 'cheat sheets'.
Many sites on the internet are devoted to revealing extra codes or programmed sequences for any and all games or consoles in the market. It's a fun way to discover 'secrets' which would have otherwise remained hidden.

Some of the sites who offer cheat sheets charge a fee, while a few can give them away for free.

Some games are also known to reveal such strategies by completing a specific level or simply reading through their instructions carefully.

The world of gaming is an extensive one and the internet has become an invaluable source to find like-minded individuals wiling to share your passion.

Forums and online communities catering to specific games are more readily available and to join is free; a much welcome reprieve from the high cost of some video game consoles in the market today.
